Data collection and information processing

Data collection and information processing are at the heart of CLS’s service offering. CLS converts and optimises your data into exploitable activity-specific information, injecting added value into your professional activities.
All data received from the field is processed by our own CLS Group data centre. This first-class data processing facility is operational 24/7, offering you guaranteed continuity of service and permanent access to your information.
Our data centre benefits from the latest cutting-edge technologies in terms of infrastructure and hardware resources. It also guarantees the continuity, security and confidentiality of your data with highly secure access procedures and continuous redundancy of the service to a second back-up centre.

Data security and confidentiality

Data security and confidentiality are crucial considerations for CLS. We therefore guarantee the integrity, security and confidentiality of our customers’ information at every stage in its processing and retrieval on our web interfaces.

Staff procedures

CLS operates strict procedures and is able to draw on the extensive experience.

Very rigorous methodologies for equipment and staff have been defined to reduce to a minimum the risk of loss of data or fraudulent access.

Redundancy of the service

In order to guarantee continuity of service under all circumstances, we have established a second back-up data centre since 2008 on the secure site of CNES (the French space research centre). This is a mirror centre, integrated for hot redundancy. Customer data is therefore permanently secured, since our computer system is able to switch over in the event of a breakdown of the main system. The use of two facilities on a remote site is intended to prevent any risk of loss of data related to natural or technological disasters and to guarantee maximum availability of services for our customers.
